Art Gaysel Ptown was another opportunity to transform my room into the Junior Mendez experience — fully immersing visitors in my universe through shopping, community connection, and joyful storytelling. I created a full line of original pieces as well as this Greetings From Ptown card to celebrate Ptown Pride, making the weekend feel both personal and electric.
Art Gaysel Miami — hosted by Hotel Gaythering and curated by Alex Guerra — gathers top queer artists for a three‑day showcase during Miami’s electric art week.
It’s a rare, positive standout — the community‑driven, non‑corporate highlight of Basel where visitors actually meet the artists themselves. I brought the Junior Mendez experience to South Beach, sharing my joyful, immersive work with a vibrant crowd.
The Queer ArtShowcase at the MOXY Miami Beach — a one‑night event curated to kick off Miami Beach Pride — brought together standout LGBTQ+ artists for an evening of joy, culture, and community. It’s exactly how Pride Weekend should begin: vibrant, welcoming, and rooted in real connection. I debuted the Junior Mendez experience for a packed crowd, setting the tone for an unforgettable Pride.
My solo feature at The Gallery at C’mon Everybody — one of Flatbush’s true community treasures — was a chance to show my work in a space built entirely for us. Program Director Eric Sosa welcomed me into this incredible venue, giving me the room to present the full Junior Mendez experience in a setting that’s genuinely for the neighborhood and the queer community it serves.
My Sip & Shop with the Artist collaboration at Kai’ea NYC — Chelsea’s hip menswear boutique — became two lively nights of art, fashion, and connection. The Junior Mendez experience fit seamlessly into the space’s stylish, downtown energy, turning the boutique into a warm, joyful mix of mingling, shopping, and community.
My first ever Sip & Shop with the Artist takeover at Tops & Bottoms brought vibrant energy to Wilton Manors, FL for two nights of mingling and spring‑season shopping. The boutique and its founder, Nathaniel Perez, fully supported my brand, showcasing my work throughout their collection and giving the Junior Mendez experience a bright, community‑driven platform for all to enjoy!
